Construction Teleporter
Your factory is too big to walk. Be thankful for the blue flash.
The Construction Teleporter is a Tier 4 utility buildable in Satisfactory that lets the player instantly relocate to a pre-set point in the world. Think of it as a personal fast-travel anchor: you place it at a distant corner of your sprawling factory, and from then on you can skip the long walk (or conveyor-belt ride) to reach it in a single step.
It doesn't move resources, products, or machines—just you, the player, and whatever is in your inventory. In a game where your factory can stretch across multiple biomes and span kilometers of terrain, the Construction Teleporter is the difference between a pleasant commute and a punishing trek back to the other side of your production line.

Lore & Background
The Satisfactory Construction Team arrived on this alien world with a mandate: build, automate, and satisfy. As their operations grew from a single FICSIT-mine to continent-spanning production networks, the team's engineers recognized a simple problem—distance. A factory that spans from the grasslands to the tundra, from coastal refineries to mountain-top smelters, demands a way to move people faster than their legs allow.
The Construction Teleporter is the team's answer. Part of the same FICSIT-adjacent toolkit that gives the player their hoverpack, their builder, and their ability to place and remove structures at will, it folds a short segment of space into a single step. The in-universe logic is never fully spelled out, but the implication is clear: the same technology that lets you build a 200-tile factory in an afternoon can also let you skip the 200-tile walk across it.
Fans often describe the first time they slot one down at the far end of a mega-factory as a small rite of passage. You've graduated from 'walking to the other side' to 'flipping a switch and arriving.' It's a quiet flex, a small declaration that your operation has outgrown the map's default scale.
In Their Own Story
The tundra wind bit through your jacket as you trudled the last four hundred meters of conveyor to the sulfuric-acid processing site. Again. For the third time today. You'd placed the Construction Teleporter back at the main hub, but the acid plant sat on the opposite ridge, and every time a filter clogged you had to make the pilgrimage.
You stopped, pulled up your build menu, and selected the Teleporter. The little blue hologram snapped into the frost-hardened ground with a soft chime. You tapped the confirm prompt, and for a heartbeat the air shimmered.
Next time, you thought, you'll just… be here. No wind. No boots crunching on ice. Just a blink and the hum of the acid tanks. You grinned, tucked your hands into your pockets, and started the long walk home. One more time. Just one more.
Reader's Guide
Function: The Construction Teleporter is a single-purpose player utility. Place it at any valid buildable location, and it becomes a permanent teleport destination. From any other point in the world (or from a second Teleporter), you can trigger the teleport and arrive instantly at the set location. It moves only the player and their carried items—no conveyor integration, no item routing.
Inputs / Outputs: None in the traditional sense. No power cable, no item input, no product output. You place it, you use it, done. It's a pure QoL (quality-of-life) buildable.
Tier: Tier 4. You'll need your factory to be well underway before it unlocks, which fits its role as a late-game convenience for sprawling layouts.
The 'aha' moment: You've built a factory that stretches from the grasslands to the tundra. A jam in your concrete line means a ten-minute jog across three biomes. You finally unlock the Teleporter, place one at the hub and one at the concrete plant, and the next jam is solved in two seconds flat. You feel like a factory god. You are, in a very small, very specific way.
Design intent: Coffee Stain clearly wanted to reward players who build *big* without punishing them for it. The Teleporter says, 'Your ambition is valid; here's a shortcut so you can keep building instead of walking.' It's the game's love letter to the player who's already committed to a 2,000-tile layout.
Did You Know?
- The Construction Teleporter is player-only: it will not teleport items, robots, or other entities, making it a pure convenience rather than a logistics tool.
- Because it requires no power connection or item input, it can be placed virtually anywhere a buildable fits, including on top of or beside complex factory structures.
- It sits at Tier 4, meaning you need a reasonably developed factory before it becomes available—by which point your layout is likely big enough to actually need it.
- Players often pair two Teleporters as a 'jump point' system, chaining them across a factory to create multi-stop fast travel without walking between hubs.
